First of all they would not let me go back with my little dog for them to draw blood. Secondly they tried to charge me over 50.00 for shots. Thirdly they was rough with my dog, made him bleed from anal swab. Also they tried to con me out of 170 for office visit instead of 40 that they quoted me on the phone. This don't include test just visit. Tried to say it's a yearly check up instead of a regular office visit. No my dog would have to be a patient for that and it's a con. Same damn visit, they just want to rip you off and could care less about the animals that come in. And they are higher than other vets in lincolnton and surrounding areas. I advise you to find one elsewhere unless you want to feel uncomfortable and not have someone that won't rip you off. He also caused my dogs ear to bleed taking a swab. Dug it deep in ear which can cause damage. This place is awful. 170.00 and then the skin issue they was suppose to treat they said best to go to pet smart. Would not even give me recommendations on what to buy.

As a couple others have stated they (Ironton) are all about the money. I paid for an exam that consisted of a quick look over, supposedly a stool test and blood work, and a healthy cat diagnosis. Told the stool test may not have been read properly they advised I pay for another! Is that really my fault? Then I was given a prescription for the cat... 30-40 minutes after giving her the prescription she died. So unless you are seeking euthanasia find another Vet.

No complaints here. Staff has always been polite and helpful. Prices are also a little lower and we all know, every little bit helps.
